Site visitors can search for and find film and video professionals and services. Members can post their work and find others to work with. Create a user account to access all the features of the site. You can add your own profile and post your work.

Getting Started

If you already have an account, you can login to access your profile and post your work.

If you are new to the site Create an Account.

Registered and verified users can offer filmmaking services to our hiring community. Specific services listed at Bangkok Filmmakers can be added to your profile on the Edit Profile page. Adding listed services can make it easier for members in the hiring community to find your profile. If you don't see the service that you offer listed, you can request that the service be added. Request a New Service.

If you are a service vendor you may sign up using an email associated with that service. If you know another vendor that should be added, and you don't see the business listed, you can request that the vendor be added. Adding vendors can increase the utility of the site. Vendors who own the business entity referenced in an admin created profile can claim their profile at a later time, or request removal from the site as per their request. To add a vendor: Request Vendor to be Added.

Welcome to your profile page setup guide! Follow these instructions to ensure your profile is complete and optimized. A complete profile enhances your visibility and credibility on the platform. Note: Certain fields are required for your profile to be publicly viewable, including Name, Username, Description, and Snippet.

Your profile page is where you can manage your personal information, update your profile details, and access additional settings. A complete profile enhances your visibility and credibility on the platform.

Rating and Verification

Account Verification

Account verification is important because it means that we at Bangkok Filmmakers have verified that the provider is a known entity and a legitimate business to the best of our knowledge. Verification boosts the provider's ranking and rating.

Criteria for Verification (please provide at least three of the following):

  • Contact Information: Ensure all contact details are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Portfolio: Provide links to your online portfolio.
  • Client Testimonials: Submit testimonials from verified clients.
  • Social Media Links: Include links to active social media profiles.
  • Business Registration: If you have it, please provide proof of business registration.

Rating

Your rating is an accumulated score based on:

  • Verification: Boosts your rating significantly.
  • Legitimate Testimonials: The number and quality of testimonials.
  • User Likes: Recommendations from other users.

Account Information

Account Email

  • Current Account Email: Displayed at the top of your profile page.
  • Edit Account Email: Click the "Edit Account Email" button to update your account email.
  • Reset Account Password: Click the "Reset your account password" button to change your password.

Listed Status

  • Listed Checkbox: Check this box to make your profile visible in public searches. Profiles must be listed to appear in searches.

Profile Details

Entity Type

  • Entity Radio Buttons: Select the type of entity your profile represents (e.g., individual, company, service provider).

Avatar

  • Add/Edit Avatar: Click the "Add Account Avatar" button or the existing avatar image to update your profile picture.

Profile Fields

Fill in the required fields to ensure your profile is publicly viewable:

  • Name: Update your name.
  • Username: Update your username (lowercase, no spaces or special characters).
  • Title: Update your professional title.
  • Contact Email: Update your public contact email.
  • Phone Number: Update your phone number.
  • Website: Update your website URL.
  • Website Description: Update the description of your website.
  • Demo Reel URL: Add a YouTube or Vimeo video URL for your demo reel.
  • Location: Update your location.
  • Description: Update your profile description (max 3000 characters).
  • Snippet: Update a brief snippet about yourself (max 600 characters).

Description field supports Markdown!

Use Markdown for Rich Content: You can use Markdown to format your description field to make it more engaging. Markdown allows you to add headings, lists, links, images, and more. Here are some examples:

- **Headings**: Use `#` for H1, `##` for H2, `###` for H3, and so on.
- **Bold and Italics**: Use `**bold**` for bold text and `_italic_` for italic text.
- **Lists**: Use `-` or `*` for bullet points and `1.` for numbered lists.
- **Links**: Use `[Link Text](URL)` to add links.
- **Images**: Use `![Alt Text](Image URL)` to add images.

Confirm Changes

  • Submit Button: Click the "Confirm Changes to Profile" button to save all updates to your profile.

Services

  • Add Services: Select from available services in the dropdown menu. If the service you provide is not listed, you can request to add a new service.
  • Add/Edit Social Links: Update your social media links.

Testimonials and Location Map

Testimonials

  • Add/Edit Testimonials: Manage testimonials by clicking the relevant buttons and links. Testimonials must feature a social link or profile link to the testimonial provider.

Google Map

  • Edit Location Map: Add or update your location on the map.

Danger Zone

Delete User Account

  • Delete Account: If you wish to delete your account, click the "Delete User Account" button and follow the prompts. This action is irreversible.

How to Post a Job

Posting a job on our platform is straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure your job listing is complete and attractive to potential candidates. Note that you must be an authenticated and verified user to post a job. Request verification if you haven't already been verified.

  1. Navigate to the Job Posting Section: Log in to your account and Jobs page and click on the "Post a Job" button.

  2. Fill in Job Details: Enter all the necessary details about the job, including the job title, description, location, budget, required skills, and application deadline.

  3. Use Markdown for Rich Content: You can use Markdown to format your job description and make it more engaging. Markdown allows you to add headings, lists, links, images, and more. Here are some examples:

    • Headings: Use # for H1, ## for H2, ### for H3, and so on.
    • Bold and Italics: Use **bold** for bold text and _italic_ for italic text.

To post a job, navigate to the Post a Job section from your dashboard. Fill in the necessary details and submit your job listing for approval.

You will need to provide the job title, description, location, budget, required skills, and application deadline.

How long does it take for a job to be approved?

Jobs are typically approved within 24 hours. If you need your job approved faster, you can submit a request. Please add your job ID manually in the message.
